Datalogic is pleased to announce the newest QuickScan product: the QD2131 1D linear imager. This is an entry level scanner with enhanced performance for general linear bar code scanning applications.
When compared to the current QuickScan QD2130 imager, the new QD2131 imager brings to the table many enhancements in all aspects of scanning. The scanning performance has been improved with an extended depth-of-field and a wider scanning angle, which means a longer scanning line.
These improvements enable customers to use the reader at a farther distance as well as at a closer distance when reading long bar codes. This may be very common in some applications such as Utility Bill applications where linear bar codes tend to be longer.
